~Barns~

It seems I've been MIA for a little while...actually I've been going through some medical stuff! Today while I was sitting at the hospital waiting for some Nuclear Medicine to run through my body (sounds worse than what it was!), I was looking at a book and I ran across some pictures of one of my true loves!

I love old barns! Yes, they may not look pretty to some, but they are so full of history and stories (I so wish they could tell me just one story each!). Well, I got home, pulled up some pictures and surprise...here are some that I wanted to share with you. All of these barns are either from Colorado (where I live) or Arkansas (deep family roots). I hope you enjoy!

And don't forget while visitng one of these...you need to be wearing these...

And this...
Don't you just love the pink!

  1. I love that second barn. I live in Kentucky barn country and I have never seen a barn like that one. Yes I love barns too, there is one a hill near me and I love looking at it.

  2. I love old barns too! I also am going through some "medical" stuff and will have that nuclear medicine on Fri. UNFORTUNATELY. I do NOT like dealing with ANYTHING medical!!! Hope you don't have any major problems and hope we both get past this very soon. Thanks for coming by my blog!

  3. Terrie, I hope you are doing okay - nuclear medicine, yeah, that makes me concerned.

The barn pictures are great. Have always wanted to live in a converted barn.
The second barn - do you know the history? Makes me wonder if for some reason they happened to have church or school or even house windows and found a good way to use them.

If you have any history on that barn it would make an interesting post. You know, that barn already looks like a house - I want to live there.

I think we would all like pictures the next time you step out in pink boots and hat!
